Here are the results to last week's poll about sanctions against Iran and, below these, details of our new poll. Obviously, the results aren't necessarily representative of anything other than the opinions of people who read this blog and are "brave" enough to take a few seconds to choose between the various choices offered, but they are interesting nevertheless. For further discussion on the previous poll's issue, see Influencing Iran.

New Poll (in sidebar): Would you use the new early pregnancy sex test being sold online that enables parents to find out the sex of their unborn baby at just six weeks? Or do you fear that it will inevitably lead to babies being aborted simply for not being the desired sex, as does the pro-life charity LIFE, who claim the test is "very dangerous"? Personally, my wife and I waited for the birth of both our children before finding out whether each was a boy or a girl. As with all our polls, if you think the range of responses is too limited, feel free to leave a comment instead!
